Methods of Payment

We accept the following methods of payment:

Cash - Pin - Chip - Travellers cheques - Visa - Eurocard - American Express (We prefer Visa cards).

When paying in advance, please specify your arrival date and reservation number. We are not liable for the payment of bank charges. IBAN NL62ABNA0440506999 BIC no: ABNANL2AThe availability of your room will be guaranteed if we have received advance payment or a credit card number with its expiry date (although not without limitations). In all other cases we will take possession of the accommodation at 12.00 hours, without further notice. If you make a last-minute booking we will ask for a telephone transfer or a credit card number and expiry date. The room will be available from 15.00 hours onwards, and must be vacated by 11.30 on the day of departure.

Cancellation service

Why not take advantage of our straightforward and money-saving cancellation service? We offer this service for just 5% of the value of your reservation. You will then be able cancel the reservation free of charge at any time (without providing reasons) up to 24 hours before arrival. If you do not take up this offer we will then charge for any cancellation in accordance with the Uniform Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Restaurant and Catering Sector, a copy of which will be sent to you free of charge on request. In that event we would strongly suggest that you arrange cancellation insurance elsewhere.

Cancellation charges in accordance with the Uniform Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Restaurant and Catering Sector

Where you have entered into a contract with Golden Tulip Strandhotel Westduin, the cancellation charges set out in the contract will apply.

In the event of cancellation more than 1 month before the commencement date, the guest will not be required to pay any monies to the hotel.

In the event of cancellation more than 14 days before the commencement date, the guest will be required to pay the hotel 15% of the reservation value.

In the event of cancellation more than 7 days before the commencement date, the guest will be required to pay the hotel 35% of the reservation value.

In the event of cancellation more than 3 days before the commencement date, the guest will be required to pay the hotel 60% of the reservation value.

In the event of cancellation more than 24 hours before the commencement date, the guest will be required to pay the hotel 85% of the reservation value.

In the event of cancellation less than 24 hours before the commencement date, the guest will be required to pay the hotel 100% of the reservation value.

No refund will be made in the event of early departure where elements of a package deal have not been made use of.
